Constitutional Literacy

Welcome to the Constitutional Literacy course. This course introduces the key elements of the Zimbabwean constitution that citizens must be aware of. Citizens are entitled to certain fundamental rights that are guaranteed by the Constitution and it is important for everyone to be aware of them. The course also covers the functions of institutions that support democracy in Zimbabwe. The aim is to increase awareness of the Constitution and its provisions as every citizen has a duty to protect and promote the Constitution and the rights and freedoms that it guarantees.
